After graduation, I worked for the State of Indiana. In 1966, I went to work for RCA. It was there that I met my husband, Dale. We were married in 1967 and have three children-Tim, David, and Teresa. We have one grandson and five granddaughters. In 1976, I began work with GTE (now Verizon) and retired from there in 1993. While working at GTE and raising my kids, I began and completed work at IPFW for my Bachelor’s Degree. After retiring from GTE, I taught at Ivy Tech, Michiana College, and IPFW until 1999 when I retired again. In 2004, I got bored and went back to work running a regional sewer district near our home, retiring again in December, 2012. We now spend our winters on the Manatee River in Bradenton, Florida and our summers at our lake home near Fort Wayne, Indiana.
